The main business street, Washington, runs along a ridge above the valley of Slate Creek and has several interesting turn-of-the-century buildings. Downtown Wellington offers pleasant shopping in a variety of stores.

South Ash Utility Construction

Intersection of Mill & Ash to be closed Tuesday - June 1, 2010 for Hargis Pipelines Sewer Project.

Mill Street should be reopened by Wednesday - June 2. Ash Street North of Mill, however, will be closed on a block by block basis as the sewer line construction progresses north.

Widening of East US-160 Highway
